We appreciate you considering staying with us and want to make every opportunity for friends and family to stay at the Kingfisher getaway home.

Our home is managed to the public locally by Open Nest Rentals. They are excellent hosts and will handle all logistics during and schedule hospitality after your stay. The public rental site is:

Friends and Family Rates and discounts

We offer the following discounts to our friends and family, when booked through us directly:

  • We waive the third party 10% booking/reservation fee.
  • We waive the third party damage protection fee.
  • We waive the minimum # of days required to stay.
    • Although to spread out your cleaning and hot tub costs, a minimum 2 day stay is ideal.
  • Nightly Rate Discounts – the following are two typical examples of discounts we offer:
    • Percent Discounts – We offer a sliding percentage discount from the published rate on the Open Nest site. This discount rate varies by season.
    • Last Minute Specials – If we have no visitors by Thursday as we approach an upcoming weekend, we can offer our minimum/best nightly rate for your stay.
    • Late Checkout – Whenever we can, we like to offer our friends late checkout at no cost, so you can experience each visit to your fullest.
  • Cleaning, Hot Tub and Pet fees apply for each visit, as these are third party costs.
    • Post visit cleaning and COVID sanitization fee is $200; Hot tub sanitization fee is $55; Pet rates are $20 each per night.
  • Local and State Taxes apply.
Booking

When booking for our friends and family rate, make sure you are familiar with the availability and posted pricing on the Open Nest public site, then contact us directly for the friends and family discount.

Once a booking is agreed upon, we will coordinate the back end booking for you at the discounted rate. After booking, you will call the Open Nest office to provide payment details over the phone and they will provide you the same contactless check in/out and support services as our regular visitors.
